Tyler Hill is an unincorporated community located in Texas Township, Wayne County, in the northeastern part of Pennsylvania, United States. Situated along Pennsylvania Route 371 approximately 11 miles northeast of the county seat of Honesdale, it lies at coordinates 41°41′42″N 75°06′29″W and an elevation of 1,243 feet (379 m), within the broader Endless Mountains region known for its rural landscapes and outdoor recreation opportunities. It developed in the 19th century around early pioneer settlements and lumber-related industries. Named after the prominent Tyler family—early settlers including Bezaleel Tyler—Tyler Hill was originally known as Tylerville and served as a hub for local commerce and social gathering, exemplified by the historic Tyler Hill Store established by Israel Tyler, grandson of Bezaleel, who also operated sawmills, a grist mill, and engaged in lumber rafting on the nearby Delaware River.
