Reeders is an unincorporated community in Jackson Township in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, United States. Reeders is located at the intersection of Pennsylvania Route 715 and Reeders Run Road. Originally known as Singerville or Singertown, Reeders traces its roots to at least 1811, when the earliest recorded log school was established there, with John Possinger as the first teacher; a second schoolhouse followed in 1829. The community, part of Jackson Township formed in 1843, developed around farming, logging, and milling industries in the 19th century, including the township's first grist mill built in 1838 by Michael Butz and an early sawmill on the west branch of McMichael's Creek dating to before 1765. Its name appears in local postal and transportation records from the 19th century, reflecting its role as a key stop; the Reeders post office and general store were central landmarks by 1910.
